Quilters
The BLC quilters meet weekly during the school year to make quilts which are given to different local charities each year. You DO NOT need to know how to quilt to be a part of this group. Come cut squares of fabric, tie quilts, help organize the fabric and lay out quilting squares.
SNACK PACKS
Our Snack Pack ministry works in conjunction with the District 5 school system to provide weekend and holiday food to children in need.
At present, BLC provides food for the Ballentine Elementary children in the program. A bag filled with more than 16 food items goes home with the children each Friday. Over holiday breaks large boxes of food are prepared for each family represented.
MENTOR MINISTRY
This ministry is an opportunity to mentor our Ballentine Elementary Snack Pack students. The ideal is for each student to have their own mentor who will come into the school and spend an hour a week with them. Mentoring may include reading, helping with homework and academic areas where the children need some extra attention.
Bethlehem participates in the ministries of Lutheran World Relief as well as Lutheran Disaster Response.

We have made quilts, hygiene kits, school kits, soap donations, money donations to Disaster Response and Heifer International and we sponsor Fair Trade Fairs.
